The Boston Fleet will open 2026-27 training camp with 29 players at Boston Sports Institute, and general manager Danielle Marmer is making no secret of it: there are jobs to win. Nineteen players are already signed for the season and 16 wore a Fleet sweater in 2025-26, leaving camp invites and draft picks to push for the remaining spots.
What to watch
The core is locked in. Rookie of the Year Haley Winn is extended through 2028-29, first-round pick Grace Dwyer is signed through 2028-29, and veterans Susanna Tapani, Megan Keller and Aerin Frankel return. The intrigue sits with the seven free-agent invites and three unsigned draft picks (Jaden Bogden, Maeve Kelly and Jenna Goodwin) trying to crack an opening-night lineup.
Boston gets two closed-door tune-ups at home before the opener: New York on Monday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. ET and Montréal on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. ET. The regular season starts Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. ET in New York, with the home opener against Ottawa on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. ET at Agganis Arena.
In their words
“We have a great mix of returning players, along with draft picks and camp invites, and there are certainly roster spots to compete for. We’re looking forward to seeing who embraces that competition, fits our style of play and shows they can be a part of the identity we’re continuing to build here in Boston.”
