The Vancouver Goldeneyes will begin preparing for their second PWHL season with 28 players in camp, including 16 who were part of the team’s inaugural season. Camp opens Nov. 18 at the PNE Agrodome, ahead of a Dec. 5 home opener against the Seattle Torrent.
Who is coming to camp
Vancouver’s roster includes 15 forwards, nine defenders and four goaltenders. Nineteen players are already signed for the 2026-27 season.
Signed players include forwards Sarah Nurse and Tereza Vanišová, defenders Ashton Bell and Sophie Jaques, and goaltenders Kristen Campbell and Emerance Maschmeyer. The camp group also features 2026 PWHL Draft selections Thea Johansson, Jules Constantinople, Caroline Harvey, Ashley Messier and Katie DeSa. Harvey and DeSa are among the players already signed.
Camp begins after the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship, which takes place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16.
Building depth and chemistry
“Our players and staff are eager to get on the ice together for the first time this season at training camp,”
Alison Izzi, Goldeneyes General Manager
Izzi said camp will be an opportunity to add depth around the signed roster, build on lessons from the inaugural season and develop chemistry for year two.
