The Montréal Victoire will open camp a day after the rest of the league, on Thursday, Nov. 19, with 29 players at Verdun Auditorium. Nineteen are already under contract, 16 of them holdovers from 2025-26, giving general manager Danièle Sauvageau a familiar foundation built around extended stars like Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey and Ann-Renée Desbiens.
What to watch
With 10 defenders in camp, the blue line is where the competition will be thickest. Montréal travels to Boston Sports Institute for both tune-ups: New York on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. ET and Boston on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. ET.
The opener carries some history. The Victoire host expansion PWHL Hamilton at Place Bell on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. ET, which is Hamilton's first regular-season game.
In their words
“We believe we have assembled a group of players who will complement each other very well, and we can’t wait to see them in action in just a few weeks. This is another sign that our season is fast approaching, and we’re incredibly excited to reconnect with our fans and experience the electric atmosphere at Place Bell once again.”
Danièle Sauvageau, Victoire General Manager
