For New York Sirens general manager Pascal Daoust, training camp is “where a group starts to become a team.” The Sirens will bring 29 players to Essex County Codey Arena on Nov. 18, including 18 who played for New York in 2025-26 and 19 already signed for the new season.
What to watch
Sarah Fillier leads a forward group that also includes Kristýna Kaltounková and Casey O'Brien, while Micah Zandee-Hart and Maja Nylén Persson return on the back end. Forward Makenna Webster, a 2025 draft pick who finished her college career first, is the only signed player who has not yet suited up for the Sirens.
New York plays both scrimmages at Boston Sports Institute: Boston on Monday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. ET and Montréal on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. ET. The Sirens open at home on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. ET against the Fleet at Prudential Center.
In their words
“It’s also where a group starts to become a team. Our job now is to build the connections, trust and accountability that allow us to play for each other, together, while holding ourselves to a standard of excellence in our unique New York Sirens style.”
Pascal Daoust, Sirens General Manager
