Ottawa Charge fans have their first look at the group preparing for the club’s move into Canadian Tire Centre: a 28-player training camp roster featuring 17 players from last season’s team. Camp opens Wednesday, Nov. 18, ahead of a Dec. 6 home opener against the Toronto Sceptres.
Competition across the roster
The Charge will bring 15 forwards, nine defenders and four goaltenders to camp, with 19 players already signed for the 2026-27 season. The opening date follows the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship, which runs Nov. 6-16 in Denmark.
The roster includes 2026 PWHL Draft selections Taylor Otremba, Tereza Pištěková, Jordan Ray, Vivian Jungels and Tory Mariano. Jungels is among the players already signed for the upcoming season.
In goal, Sanni Ahola, Gwyneth Philips and Kendra Woodland return from Ottawa’s 2025-26 roster. Kaitlyn Ross, whose listed previous team is Mount Royal University in 2024-25, completes the four-player group.
