Meet the participants

Ambrose arrives with championship experience. The inaugural PWHL Defender of the Year helped Montréal win its first Walter Cup in 2026 and has recorded 37 points in 73 career PWHL regular-season games. She also won Olympic gold with Canada in 2022 and silver in 2026.

Weiss was promoted from video assistant to assistant coach with the Colorado Eagles in 2026. She previously served as an assistant with Trinity College's men's hockey program in 2023-24, becoming the first woman to hold an assistant coaching position in NCAA Division III men's hockey.

DiDia joined PWHL Las Vegas in May 2026 from CAA Sports, where she launched the agency's Women's Hockey Department and served as Co-Head. Her background also includes nine years with the Los Angeles Kings, rising to Director of Marketing and Content Publicity.

What it means for Las Vegas

The Welcome Tour comes ahead of the team's fall debut at T-Mobile Arena. Las Vegas was announced on May 13 as one of four new PWHL expansion teams and is now one of the league's 12 teams. Season tickets are available for its inaugural season.
