PWHL Las Vegas has named the 29 players who will begin shaping its inaugural-season team at training camp, with two preseason scrimmages scheduled before its Dec. 6 debut against Detroit. Camp opens Nov. 18 at America First Center.
Who’s coming to camp
The roster includes 16 forwards, nine defenders and four goaltenders. Eighteen players are already signed for the 2026-27 season, while 16 were members of PWHL teams during 2025-26.
Signed players include forwards Hayley Scamurra and Maureen Murphy and defender Erin Ambrose, all listed with Montréal Victoire as their 2025-26 team, along with goaltender Nicole Hensley from the Minnesota Frost.
The roster also features signed 2026 draft selections Josefin Bouveng, Lacey Eden, Tessa Janecke and Issy Wunder at forward, and Kendall Butze on defence.
PWHL training camps open following the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship, which takes place in Denmark from Nov. 6-16.
In their words
“We’ve assembled a talented, competitive group with a great mix of skill, experience and potential, and camp will be an important first step in establishing our identity, building chemistry and setting the standard for what PWHL Vegas will be.”
